who we are

We make games. We teach you how.

GameAxen was built by game developers who got tired of watching talented people give up because they couldn't find good training.

So we created courses that work. No theory dumps. No outdated tools. Just practical skills that get you hired.

How we started

Back in 2015, three game developers sat in a Barcelona cafe. They'd all worked at major studios. EA. Ubisoft. Riot Games.

They kept seeing the same problem. Talented people wanted to break into games but couldn't find training that worked. Online courses taught outdated methods. Bootcamps cost too much. University degrees took too long.

So they built GameAxen. A platform where working professionals teach current industry practices. Where students build real games, not toy examples. Where mentors actually review your work and tell you how to improve.

Ten years later, over 700 students have gone through the program. Many work at studios. Some launched indie games. Others became freelancers. All of them can make games people want to play.

Our approach

Build, don't watch

You learn by making games. Every lesson ends with hands-on work. Theory only matters when you need it to solve a problem.

Get real feedback

Mentors review your projects. They tell you what works and what doesn't. No sugar coating. Just honest critique from people who ship games.

Learn current tools

We teach what studios use right now. Unity 2023. Unreal Engine 5. Blender 4. If the industry moves, our courses move.
